This group started in the year 2020. The purpose was to welcome those who were widowed, divorced or separated in a group setting for fellowship, connection and growth. It is for those who are ready to move forward with a renewed spirit despite our loss, and carry our cherished ones with us in our hearts.    

We meet the second Tuesday of the month in the hospitality room at St. Patrick Church after the 8:00 am Mass and the Rosary. 

We travel on a small bus to spiritual events. We have traveled to St. Benedicts Retreat house in Schuyler NE for a day retreat, we journeyed to the Creighton Retreat Center in Griswald, The Immaculate Heart of Mary Queen of Peace in Sioux City, The Cloisters on the Platte for the beautiful Stations of the Cross. We toured The Holy Family Shrine at the glass chapel. At Christmas we dined at Mount Michaels for a delicious meal prepared by Brother Jerome. 

We enjoy each other’s company and the events give us an opportunity to grow in our faith. To us, it is our testimony that our lives will move on- not only for ourselves, but for those we have lost, and for our family and friends. To know that joy is still possible in going forward shows our faith in the God who saves and heals us.  We welcome you to join us on this journey!
