Proclaim the holy scripture during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass.
This includes the 1st Reading, Responsorial Psalm, 2nd Reading, and the Intercessions. (Properly speaking, the psalm should always be sung by the cantor and the intercessions should be done by a deacon.)
Prospective Lectors
- Must be practicing Catholics
- Must have received Confirmation.
- Must follow Marriage laws of the Church
